HUGO CHAVEZ CALLS BUSH "THE DEVIL"; ENTIRE U.S. RIGHT WING TRIES TO FIT HIM FOR A STRAITJACKET

Funny, I don't seem to recall the righties thinking this guy was crazy.

...Or any of these people, for that matter.

UPDATE: As ABC News pointed out tonight, U.N. trash talk is nothing new -- Chavez's pal Fidel Castro, in a General Assembly speech in 1960, called then-presidential candidate John F. Kennedy "an illiterate and ignorant millionaire." Say what you will about Castro, but he wasn't crazy.

OH, AND: John Bolton may not be impressed, but these drum 'n' bass DJs think Chavez is a true playa. (Scroll down to the post by Jim Bergerac and find out why Chavez should make his live act more like Public Enemy's.)

LAST WORD: Don't take me too seriously here -- I have real reservations about Chavez. Nevertheless, I'm amused at how hysterical everyone on the right is getting, when all he did was say what he really feels about Bush (and the feeling is certainly mutual).

And one more thing: Check the comments -- I think Rand Careaga has figured out the real meaning of Chavez's "sulfur" reference.
