IMAGINE MY SURPRISE: ALLEN WEST IS A BOWE BERGDAHL HYPOCRITE

Allen West, the former Florida congressman who's now a full-time demagogue, has called for President Obama's impeachment over the Bowe Bergdahl prisoner exchange. West wrote:
Obama just released the leadership of a terrorist organization, and what did we get in return? A deserter, who by his own self-proclamation harbors anti-American sentiments -- which it seems that Susan Rice, our esteemed National Security Advisor, didn't even realize his heinous actions -- or maybe as usual she just lied about it again. Bergdahl served the United States with honor and distinction? Let's not send Susan Rice out ever again.
I'm sure you'll be astonished to learn that West attacked the president last December for not doing enough to get Bergdahl released:
President Obama is in South Africa for his self-gratifying opportunity to get before cameras for the funeral of Nelson Mandela and shake Raul Castro's hand. As we wrote Sunday evening, seems that British PM Margaret Thatcher was not deserving of his time or attention.

It got me thinking of others who seemingly do not deserve President Obama’s time or attention. In the military we live by a code that defines our commitment to each other, an undying devotion of "Leave no Man Behind."

... there is Army SGT Bowe Bergdahl still held by the Islamic terrorist Haqqani network, probably in Pakistan, in the same place where Osama Bin Laden was hiding. This past POW/MIA national day of recognition, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel reiterated a pledge to secure the young Army NCO being held captive, but have there been any actions? Any time, attention, or even mention from the Commander-in-Chief? Nah, no camera highlights in it for him....

It seems that West didn't even realize Bergdahl's alleged heinous actions back in December (even though they'd been reported more than a year earlier) -- or maybe as usual West just lied about it again. Let's not ask Allen West's opinion ever again.

My surprise. Let me show you it.

"Well, yes of course, I called for him to be released, as did many of my patriot colleagues but that was before we learned he emptied out all of Gitmo to get him back, which totally explains why I and my fellow wingnut losers are harping on his dad's tweets and beard and blaming Bergdahl for all these military deaths and calling him a deserter and traitor and not a hero."

Bergdahl is schroedinger's prisoner--he's an icon of American Moral Purity and a sign that Obama is anti Military as long as he's a Taliban prisoner. Then he's a traitor and a sign that Obama favors Islamic terrorists when Obama fights to get him released.

Right. The guys Obama released are AQ leadership. And Bergdahl is a member of the joint chiefs of staff.

Conservatives - A new fucking low every day.
